Al Wakrah thought they had earned a penalty early in the match when Jacinto Dala went down inside the area in the ninth minute, prompting an initial spot-kick decision.
However, after a review, the video assistant referee judged that no infringement had occurred, and the call was reversed, allowing play to continue with the score still level.
