The encounter quickly tilted in Al Ahli’s favor as the side established control during the opening half.

Michel Vlap ignited the scoring in the 14th minute, setting the tone for a confident performance. Their second goal arrived when Abdulrahman Anad inadvertently redirected the ball into his own net in the 28th minute, doubling Al Ahli’s cushion.

Just before the interval, Younes Hussein added another finish, ensuring his team entered the break with a 3-1 lead.

Al Khor’s response and late push

Al Khor attempted to stay within reach, with Yousef Ali cutting the deficit in the 34th minute to keep the contest alive. Despite this, the momentum largely favored their opponents, who maintained composure across the pitch.

A late effort from Gaser Yahia in the 88th minute gave Al Khor a glimmer of hope. However, their attempts to draw level fell short as time expired. Al Khor remained on 10 points after the setback.

Final strike seals the result

The match reached its conclusion when Julian Drazler struck in stoppage time, adding Al Ahli’s fourth goal in the 90+2 minute.
